    It’s GESHA, not GEISHA

  •

Gesha (Geisha) coffee is grown within and outside the high mountains of Chiapas and is noted for its outstanding aroma and flavor, with notes of jasmine, black tea, and tropical fruit, and for profound sweetness. For these reasons, Gesha (Geisha) coffee is sought-after and usually commands a high price.

Quite a few things factor into the high price for this top-quality coffee. The first is that producers have only found a few areas that provide the altitude, soil composition, and rainfall data that the trees need to grow properly and produce great-tasting beans.

It requires unique cultivating conditions, has a stunning aroma, and is rated as outstanding by the experts. On the other hand, Geisha is not an easy plant to cultivate.
